- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 2-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in law enforcement, security, military, or related field.
- The ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have effective critical thinking skills.
- Must be able to observe situations and make appropriate responses.
- Working knowledge of enforcement policies and procedures.
- Must be able to meet minimum requirements for the license eligibility for the TN State Private Protective Services.
- Must be capable of renewing license under the TN State Private Protective Services every 2 years.
- Must be available to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements
With or without reasonable accommodations:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, walking, and standing.
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to travel throughout the facility, as required.
- Must possess visual activity, i.e.: close, distance, and color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to heights, elevators, darkened arena, around crowds, loud noise, and flashing lights.
- Continuous stretching, standing and walking, including up and downstairs.
Nice to Have:
- Prior law enforcement experience preferred.
- Prior knowledge of access controls preferred.
- Physical, personnel security experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of magnetometers and X-rays.
- Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball.
