The Opportunity

The Memphis Grizzlies are seeking a Business Systems Lead to help bring structure, clarity, and insight to our growing technology ecosystem. This role sits at the intersection of people, platforms, and process—supporting how we manage systems, guide adoption, and align tools with organizational goals.

You’ll maintain our system of record for software, licenses, and key technology assets, while tracking renewals and surfacing insights that support governance, planning, and performance. From vendor evaluations to documentation and light integrations, you’ll contribute across the full lifecycle of enterprise platforms.

You’ll collaborate closely with the Helpdesk team to align onboarding and access workflows—while maintaining a distinct focus on software systems strategy. Leveraging system-generated reports, you’ll help inform smarter, more proactive decisions across the organization.

This is a highly collaborative, systems-minded role for someone who brings both structure and clarity to complex environments—and is ready to shape a more intentional approach to enterprise technology.

In This Role You Will

  • Maintain a clear system of record for enterprise software, licenses, renewals, and key technology assets.
  • Monitor usage trends and platform dependencies to support proactive planning and reduce risk.
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into actionable system specifications and technical documentation.
  • Own documentation that supports onboarding, integration, procurement, and governance processes.
  • Support tool evaluations and onboarding efforts in collaboration with Enterprise Technology leadership, Legal, and vendor partners.
  • Contribute to light integration or automation work using low-code tools, in partnership with the Integrations Engineer.
  • Coordinate onboarding and access workflows with Helpdesk and Cybersecurity teams.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline platforms by flagging inefficiencies, redundancies, or underutilized tools.
  • Leverage system-generated reports to surface insights and inform lifecycle and adoption planning.

The Experience You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Technology Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience with business systems, SaaS tools, or enterprise software.
  • Strong documentation skills, including requirements gathering and technical writing.
  • Familiarity with APIs, system integrations, or low-code tools (e.g., Power Automate, Zapier).
  • Experience working within the Microsoft ecosystem—particularly Teams, SharePoint, or Azure-based tools.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage complex system records.
  • Strong communicator with a collaborative, solutions-focused mindset.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with ITSM tools or software asset management platforms.
  • Certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, or Microsoft Power Platform are a plus.
  • Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball.
