This position will work with the Arena Operations team on the day-to-day operations of the Memphis Grizzlies and Memphis Tigers at the FedExForum. Additionally, on game-days, this position will assist the Arena Operations Coordinator and Lead to make sure the courts are game-day ready with regards to spaces around the loading dock, locker rooms, and event level. This position will be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and cleaning of the Grizzlies Practice Court, Main Court, Tigers Court, Visiting Locker Room, Visiting Weight Room, and Memphis Tigers Locker room.

• Maintain assigned storage areas in a neat and clean manner
• Respond in a timely manner to operations maintenance request for the Grizzlies spaces, but not limited to the Practice Court and the Main Court.
• Responsible for cleaning the courts, back boards, and ensure goals are leveled on the Main Court and Practice Court.
• Event management; including set up and break down for various events and activities inside the Grizzlies, Tigers, and Hustle spaces
• Report maintenance and housekeeping issues to Operations Lead.
• Responsible for installing and keeping inventory on decal stickers and equipment.
• Complete daily facility walk-through check list.
• Keeps the immediate lead and designated others fully and accurately informed concerning work progress.
• Assists with conversions for different events if needed.
• Layout chairs and equipment as needed for various events.
• Ability to make judgment calls as required in order to facilitate conversions and setups.
• Maintain operating equipment and machinery as required.
• Comply with all OSHA and safety codes as well as applicable building codes as required.
• Assist other deparments as required in order to promote teamwork and to comply with work schedules.
• Coordinate needed assets and resources to fulfill requests.
• Verify work of Service Master cleaning crew.
• Responsible for maintaining a highly presentable office space that is “show ready” at all times, which will include performing recurring preventative maintenance and reactive tasks that include minor touch up, cleaning, and repairs.
• Communicate with building management to provide essential information to Arena Operations staff.
• Ensure Conversions Changeover Department has accurately set up the courtside scorer’s table, visiting and home bench areas, camera platforms, home tunnel and other areas as designated.
• Confirm that all digital signage on Event Level is working and displaying correct content.
• Assist Arena Operations Department to ensure that players parking and broadcast bay is clear and ready for Grizzlies Personnel. • High School Diploma or GED
• At least two years of relevant work experience
• Able to speak, read, and write effectively in English.
• Must be able to work under pressure, in time sensitive operations, in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Ability to understand, follow directions, and perform assembly set-up job functions under limited supervision.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays, as required
• Must be able to work with a team and have a professional attitude and appearance.
• Knowledge of practices and procedures related to NBA/NCAA, methods and techniques for cleaning and maintaining courts and baskets, and proper use and care of hand and power tools.
• Other duties as assigned.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of sports and entertainment, specifically NBA basketball.
• Forklift Certification
